2009.06.22 - PEGC Update

1) YES FOLKS, IT'S A PEGC UPDATE...

I've just gone through something like seven weeks of dealing with a zillion
details large and small, including two months of appointments with four
different doctor, buying my Dad's old '76 Ford pick-up and getting it
operational after three years of sitting, retrieving some of my possessions from
Washington State etc, etc. The good news is that I pretty got everything done,
and oh ya...

I just finished week one of chemo / radiation treatments on the lung tumor;
that's one week down, six weeks to go. So far it's going quite well too, and I'm
feeling pretty good considering.

I'm also hoping to get in some VERY serious work on the project over the next
six weeks, and I don't mean updates. However, tonight a couple of items popped
up that show just how grotesque the situation has become over the first five
months of the Obama administration -- wherein DOJ's Civil Division and most of
DoD are STILL the Bush administration for all practical purposes.

2) THE MOST DISGRACEFUL DERELICTS IN THE US GOVERNMENT

Yes, I mean the DOJ Civil Division lawyers who have spent the last seven and a
half years fabricating a endless series of fraudulent "legal arguments" to
rationalize / excuse / hide / aid / abet the Bush administration's endless WAR
CRIMES against prisoners and civilians.

But today, they got yet another VERY well-deserved spanking from one of the most
conservative judges at the DDC -- a guy who's driven me up the wall in the past
yet has nevertheless earned my respect big time over the last year -- the
Honorable Richard J. Leon:

And that's the real root of the problem here: DoD is still running the show, and
DoD is still being run by WAR CRIMINALS who don't have a lick of common decency
or sense. These people are an embarrassment and a disgrace, and if Barrack Obama
doesn't wise up an deal with them, they're going to implicate him in their
crimes.
