2004.05.13 - PEGC Update ======================== 1) BOSTON GLOBE REPORTS 18 USC 2441 Well, it's been a long time coming, but Charlie Savage of the Boston Globe, who wrote the first mainstream report mentioning 18 USC 2441 while he was working at the Miami Herald, filed a story Wednesday in the Boston Globe that finally spells it out in detail. That story quotes Prof. Jordan J. Paust of the University of Houston Law Center, who has an outstanding column of his own available on the National Institute of Military Justice web site. (It was also at JURIST (U. Pittsburgh Law School) but that site appears to be down for some reason.) Boston Globe -- May 12, 2004 JUSTICE DEPT.
