3) BBC --

Sir David Frost did an interview with Bush for BBC1's Breakfast with Frost show,
and it includes some characteristically vacuous comments on the Guantanamo Bay
POWs.

Curious George describes the POWs as "illegal non-combatants" and claims the
"tribunals" will be consistent, or something, with international accords, blah
blah; and he's committed to making Blair happy with the deal -- which might
actually be OK, or something.

All I know for sure is that I am really looking forward to reading the London
papers next week, especially the Comment sections.

4) Oral arguments in Padilla are tomorrow, and there's been a little bit of
action.

The court ordered the government to provide them with copies of the sealed Mobbs
and Jacoby declarations.

Donna Newman made a motion for the court not to review those documents unless
their side also got copies, but that motion was denied.
